Roles & Responsiblities :

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands, production targets, and inventory levels while optimising resource utilisation and minimising production costs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, procurement, and logistics, to gather production requirements, prioritise orders, and resolve production bottlenecks.
• Analyze production capacity, resource availability, and lead times to determine production feasibility and identify areas for improvement or optimisation.
• Utilize production planning software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, MRP software) to create and maintain production schedules, capacity plans, and material requirements.
• Monitor production progress against established schedules, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery and production efficiency.
• Collaborate with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and supplies to support production schedules.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. ▪ Conduct regular production meetings and performance reviews to assess production KPIs, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive operational excellence.

Skills :

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in production planning and scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MRP systems).
• Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and material requirements planning (MRP).
